Adtran seeks an outstanding Senior Software Engineer to work on the execution of ML/AI-driven Network Intelligence Solutions. You will collaborate with a highly skilled team of engineers, data scientists and subject matter experts to develop proof-of-concepts, explore AI-driven insights, and define next generation of data intelligence products.
responsibilities :
Design, develop, and optimize scalable software solutions for AI/ML-driven network intelligence products.
Write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code using Python and TypeScript.
Implement and maintain microservices and serverless architectures using AWS cloud services (Lambda, Step Functions, SageMaker, etc.).
Develop and deploy ML/AI models and data pipelines, working closely with data scientists and ML engineers.
Ensure high-performance data processing and storage, utilizing AWS services such as Redshift, Athena, and Glue.
Collaborate in the PoC development cycle, transitioning experimental solutions into production-ready systems.
Maintain best practices for CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and integration.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
Design and implement cloud-native architectures on AWS, focusing on cost-efficiency, security, and scalability.
Work with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate) when necessary.
Ensure security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption for cloud-based applications.
Optimize AWS resource utilization, ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists to develop machine learning pipelines and real-time inference systems.
Implement data processing workflows for feature engineering and model training.
Contribute to the development and optimization of AI models, ensuring scalability and efficiency in production.
Develop solutions for real-time network insights and anomaly detection, leveraging AI-driven analytics.
Work closely with the Product Owner to refine requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, DevOps engineers, and cloud architects.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, ensuring skill development and knowledge sharing.
Stay up to date with new technologies, AI/ML advancements, and best practices in cloud computing.
Troubleshoot complex system issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
Contribute to technical documentation, ensuring clarity in architecture and implementation details.
Ensure source code management best practices, using Git and following CI/CD guidelines.
Explore new frameworks, libraries, and methodologies to enhance development efficiency.
requirements-expected :
Master of Science in Engineering in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
At least 8 years of active professional experience in software development.
3+ years of experience in AI/ML, data intelligence, or cloud-based solutions.
Proficiency in Python, with experience in developing scalable, cloud-native applications.
Experience in other scripting languages is a plus.
Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including SageMaker, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, Redshift, and Athena.
Experience in Databricks is a plus.
Experience developing microservices and serverless applications.
Strong understanding of machine learning workflows, data processing, and AI-driven insights.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
Experience working in SAFe/Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborating with Product Owners and cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
B2+ English proficiency, with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience working across time zones and cultures.
