Act as a Senior Engineer in a team responsible for building and operating a global data platform based on Snowflake
Collaborate with Snowflake platform consumers (i.e. Solution Architects, Data Engineers, etc) providing technical support and consultancy
Develop comprehensive, cost effective and robust architectural and integration proposals for the platform users
Develop and implement standardized and automated methods to monitor and optimize performance and credit consumption for Snowflake managed accounts
Apply compliance and security best practices, ensuring that Snowflake platform meets the corresponding requirements
Support IT partners facilitating the on-boarding of their use cases and optimizing operational activities
Evaluate newly released Snowflake features for added value, security, performance and alignment with the platforms mission statement
Collaborate with the users to test and adopt such features to Production
Wymagania
Strong experience in Snowflake administration, proactive monitoring and optimization (at least 3 years)
Excellent understanding of Snowflake architecture and features
Experience with cloud technologies (preferably in AWS)
Strong SQL, Python, and scripting skills for data processing and automation
Practical knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data privacy regulations
A positive can-do attitude and great problem solving skills
Experience in Data Mesh implementations will be advantageous
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English and Polish)
