Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
  
• 5 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.
• 5 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in applications security, cryptography, network security, systems security or malware analysis.
• Experience with audits including standards, implementation, and technology, and managing, configuring, and supporting an engineering project.
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies and enterprise Compute environment with virtualization and cloud hosting.
• Excellent security skills (e.g., analysis, debugging, tracing).
• Excellent communication skills with a data-driven analytical approach toward solving problems.

Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Googles users and developers. Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.
