Senior Security Awareness and Education Specialist

This Position reports to: Global IS Security Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Drive global security awareness and education initiatives to reduce human risk and strengthen ABB’s security culture.
• Design, implement, and maintain engaging security awareness campaigns and training programs across multiple channels (video, social media, webinars, in‑person sessions).
• Innovate new learning solutions to influence secure behaviours and ensure compliance with ABB’s security policies and standards.
• Manage operations, monitor key metrics, and continuously improve awareness services.
• Lead temporary campaigns, guide task completion, and share knowledge—without direct line responsibility.

You will join a collaborative, innovative, and globally connected team where your ideas and expertise directly shape how ABB employees think and act securely every day.

Qualifications For The Role

• Highly skilled in security awareness, learning design, and communication strategies, with a passion for the information security domain.
• 5+ years of experience leading global projects or services in security awareness, learning & development, e‑learning, or communication.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design, change management, and behaviour‑shaping techniques, and familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Passionate about clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and driving cultural change across diverse, global teams.
• Degree in Communication, Marketing, Learning & Training, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in English, with excellent writing, presentation, and training delivery skills.
• (Optional) Certifications in Instructional Design, Project Management, Information Security, or related fields are a strong plus.
