We are looking for an experienced Scala Developer who would join our Competency Center Digital and get involved in a project for a global leader in digital marketing solutions.

You will be working on moving AEM/Cloud Manager, a flagship e-commerce solution, to a fully automated environment in the cloud. As a part of an experienced team of Developers and DevOps Engineers, you will be participating in the development of automation tools and implementing best practices into the product’s software development lifecycle.

Your role

• Take part in developing integrations around tools based on AI
• Develop scalable, resilient, and highly available applications
• Write infrastructure code using Scala, enabling reproducible and automated provisioning of software/infrastructure components
• Develop automation tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and management
• Contribute to the implementation of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Assist in deploying and managing containerized applications
• Analyze code, identify performance bottlenecks, and suggest optimizations

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in the development of software using Scala
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
• Basic knowledge of Angular and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control tools such as Git
• Experience with Linux, PostgreSQL, SQL, IntelliJ
• Knowledge of spoken and written English at a good level
