In this position we are looking for enthusiastic, quick thinking, agile software engineer who aspires to build solutions and tools rather than regular business applications. The unique opportunity to attribute to changing the way the developers work. The candidate shall understand the modern applications architecture, microservices infrastructure, cloud based solutions, CI/CD, automated testing and be able to build comprehensive Ruby backend components, public APIs and SDKs, complex reflection based tools and optimizations and more.
responsibilities :
actively participate in creation of technical vision, architecture and developers usability of our new integration technology and tools
implement Web interfaces (HTML5/CSS React+Next.JS) to consume service being developed by end-users
evolve Ruby part of the SDKs to interact with our developer tools
evolve Ruby engine for analyzing public interfaces in RubyGems packages and converting them to unified format
evolve Ruby engine for generating strongly typed RubyGems packages based on unified public interfaces structure
support implementing RubyGems package manager gateway and repository virtualization
support guides, user experience, naming conventions, APIs and tools creation/design to meet the expectations and feelings of Ruby developers as well as their standard workflow and daily/market standard practices
evolve our current integration engine to support all remaining Ruby structure, programming entities, events, multi-threading and more
implement unit tests
support CI/CD processes
co-create project technical documentation
co-create end-users guides and documentation
ensure that the solution allows to interact with any Ruby module
ensure that SDKs are clear to understand for Ruby developers
support end-users in Ruby use cases
optionally (ideally if willing to): support evangelization, content creation, conduct events presentation and create video content for Ruby engineers
requirements-expected :
minimum of 5 years of experience in programming with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
proficiency in SQL databases (ideally Azure SQL)
experience working with version control systems (Git)
knowledge of JavaScript and front-end frameworks (React+Next.JS, HTML5/CSS)
experience with test automation tools (RSpec, Capybara)
familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
experience in converting Figma designs to pixel perfect RWD Web UIs
