As a Senior QA engineer you will be working within one of our cross-functional teams and will be responsible for ensuring the products we ship are of a high quality. You will be using a mix of manual and automation techniques to ensure our users have a great experience and encounter as few bugs as possible.
responsibilities :
Building and maintaining a test harness for distributed services
Working with the team to build tools for integration testing, performance testing and end-to-end testing
Performing manual testing where appropriate
Driving quality through writing tests, maintaining effective documentation and collaborating with stakeholders
Working directly with our Product and Design teams to ensure we bake quality in at the top of the value stream
Working with the DevOps team to help with pipeline tools where needed
requirements-expected :
Passionate about testing and quality in software
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders
Fluent in QA principles, processes and best practices
Experience testing distributed and/or complex systems
Proficient with scripting languages like TypeScript (which we use extensively), JavaScript or Python
Experience constructing end-to-end (e2e) frameworks from scratch and maintaining them
Proficiency in automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, CucumberStudio, or equivalent
Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber
Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools, such as PyTest, Jest, etc.
Hands-on experience with API testing, either through scripting or tools such as Postman
Experience with Agile software development practices
