The Opportunity

Finance Business Partners advise and support the business in areas related to future state financial performance including Finance consulting and coaching (e.g., interpreting financial results and measures in the context of business operations). Providing forward-looking financial insight into market conditions, competitors, and alternative business scenarios. Improving the quality of internal and external financial data to drive business decision making and performance. An Expert Professional (P5) is a recognized master’s in professional discipline typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Typically, responsible for: Establishing operational plans for job area. Developing and implementing new products, processes, standards or operational plans that will have an impact on the achievement of functional results. Requires communication with leadership.

Your background

• 7 - 10+ years in project controlling (industrial/manufacturing or EPC); High Voltage products/service exposure is a plus.


• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance/Accounting/Business or related.


• Expert in project accounting (IFRS), forecasting, R&O/contingency, cash and claims.


• Advanced SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO/PS), Excel/PowerBI


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Proven ability to lead across time zones and influence senior stakeholders; excellent English, German is a plus.


• Certifications: PMI CAPM/PMP desirable; Hitachi Energy Project Execution/Project Controller Certification Journey (HEPECJ) willingness to enroll.


• Occasional travel to Switzerland and/or other places for onboarding, reviews and key milestones.
