About this opportunity

As the Business Risk Manager, you will play an integral role in providing the expertise necessary for Nordea Finance to manage its risks, especially non-financial risk and associated risk and compliance processes. Nordea Finance Management Oversight provides risk management support to all Nordea Finance units in all countries. As the Senior or Chief Business Risk Manager, you will play an integral role in providing the expertise necessary for Nordea Finance to manage and mitigate risk associated with Nordea Finance’s operations and processes.

Your specific focus will be on monitoring and managing issues and enhancing reporting in Nordea Finance. You will be driving interactions with stakeholders within Nordea Finance, as well as units across the bank, coordinate requests and manage the delivery pipeline - the backbone of how we function as a unit.

More specifically, tasks may include:

• Report, follow up and track progress of all Nordea Finance (NF) issues, review Issue Closure Criteria (ICC) before signing on report, review issue closure evidence documentation before submission for validation, escalate to relevant NF Leadership Team member, where needed and follow up with issue owners, and when required, support Nordea Finance units in issues closure on time.
• Enhance risk reporting to support data-led risk management, both to provide input to reports created by other units and create reports.
• Ad hoc analyses on various topics and trend analysis (e.g. incidents), including horizon scanning.
• Act as project manager and/or participate in projects, task forces and working groups representing Nordea Finance on specific non-financial risk topics with focus on issue management and incident development and Integrated Risk Management Application.

In addition:

• Support in various risk processes, such as RCSA, CRMA, Product Approval, BCCM, Incident handling.
• Support in maintaining risk awareness and strong risk culture in Nordea Finance.
• Maintain and update INTRA Nordea Finance for NF MO.

Your experience and background:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with risk management, non-financial risks and/or audit/assurance processes.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• English spoken (professional level) and English written (professional level).
