We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in .NET to drive the development and enhancement of innovative digital solutions within a full-stack environment at ABAX Poland. Based at our Tech Center in Gdańsk, you will collaborate with colleagues in Poland, Norway, and external partners. Working in a fully agile setting, you will ensure continuous alignment with your peers across the organization.

You will closely collaborate with the Product Manager and UX Engineer to understand the product vision, client requirements, and market needs. Additionally, you will work with your Team Lead, utilizing ABAX’s internal system to support your personal and professional growth within the company.

Some of the things you will be working on:

  • Implement new product requirements and make sure they fit into the existing software design or propose necessary changes to ensure compatibility.
  • Work closely together with the Product Manager in finding the most useful solution for our customers and market needs.
  • Keep the solutions lightweight and cloud-ready for our SaaS offerings, in close cooperation with your team and assigned engineers, and architects.
  • Deliver and perform code reviews of other developers’ code on demand and give constructive feedback on improvements and challenges.
  • Test and automate testing of produced code in order to quality assure code, components of code, and end-user experience.

We believe you bring:

  • We are seeking a senior-level Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience in C# development, particularly focused on .NET Core .
  • A solid educational foundation, preferably with an MSc in Software Engineering or a related field. A minimum of a BSc degree is required.
  • Practical experience working with distributed software architecture and messaging technologies like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
  • Strong knowledge of HTTP and how to work with HTTP-based APIs, including REST-based ones and GRPC.
  • Practical experience (preferred) with BDD, TDD, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and especially DDD.
  • Practical experience with frontend technologies like Vue, TypeScript, Angular, and React is a plus.
  • Practical experience with a wide range of storage technologies from EventStore and MongoDB to SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • DevOps mindset capable of handling automation and build maintenance aiming for continuous delivery and deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment with Kanban and/or Scrum.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • Location: This position is based in Gdańsk, Poland . We are seeking candidates who are either already located in Gdańsk or the surrounding area.
  • Remote Status: Hybrid – Team members are required to be in the office at least two days per week.
