We are looking for an experienced Senior JavaScript Developer to join our team and provide technical leadership and mentorship.
Your responsibilities
- Make strategic technical decisions ensuring scalability, security, performance, and adherence to best practices.
- Design the architecture of front-end solutions using React.js or back-end solutions using Node.js.
- Focus on best practices regarding testing, security, monitoring, performance, and system reliability.
- Act as a mentor to mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews, presentations, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, communicating technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Use data, product insights, and user needs to drive decision-making, ensuring we deliver the best possible solutions.
Our requirements
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (6+ years of commercial experience).
- Deep knowledge of React.js (front-end) or Node.js (back-end).
- Experience working with databases (NoSQL: MongoDB, Firebase, and SQL).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, npm/yarn, Webpack, and Babel.
- Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable systems.
- Strong debugging, refactoring, and testing skills.
- Experience with Docker for containerizing applications and streamlining deployments.
- Proficiency in integrating third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, social logins).
- Higher education with a profile in Computer Science or related
- English level min. B2.
Optional
- Experience with Redux, Context API, Hooks, Express, NestJS, NextJS, or React Native is a plus.
- Strong AWS skills and familiarity with serverless architecture; GCP or Azure knowledge is a bonus.
