Responsibilities
- Participate in the modernization of the application towards a microservices architecture.
- Develop and enhance backend functionality using Java 8+.
- Collaborate with the front-end area and work with React where needed (basic scope).
- Maintain and improve existing system components.
- Apply and promote best coding practices.
- Mentor other developers within the team.
- Contribute to the development of crucial parts of the system and influence its direction.
- Work within Agile methodologies (SCRUM / KANBAN).
Requirements
Must-have:
- At least 5 years of experience with Java (Java 8+).
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies, especially React.
- Good understanding of unit testing (JUnit).
- Knowledge of Test Automation.
- Strong understanding of Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases and Hibernate / JPA, SQL.
- Understanding of containerization (Docker).
- Practical knowledge of microservices architecture.
Nice-to-have:
- DevSecOps skills (e.g., Azure Cloud, JBOSS).
- Knowledge of additional front-end technologies (Backbone, Marionette).
- Experience working in Agile frameworks (SCRUM, KANBAN).
- Knowledge of Java 17.
- Experience with Azure hosting.
