Senior Hydraulic Engineer

For our client, we are currently looking for candidates for the Senior Hydraulic Engineer position. 
The position is related to port cranes and the marine area.

Tasks:

• Design and analyze hydraulic systems for marine and offshore cranes and winches, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Develop hydraulic schematics, system layouts, and component specifications using CAD software and hydraulic simulation tools.
• Select appropriate hydraulic components (pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators) based on system requirements.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Oversee factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site commissioning to ensure hydraulic systems meet design specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hydraulic system issues during testing and field operations.
• Ensure hydraulic systems meet relevant industry regulations and classification society requirements (e.g., DNV, ABS, Lloyd39s Register).
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design reports, test procedures, and operation manuals if needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in hydraulic system design and engineering, preferably in the marine or offshore industry.
• Proven track record of working on hydraulic systems for cranes, winches, or similar heavy machinery.
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk inventor) for system layout and schematics.
• Understanding of control systems integration with hydraulic systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Hands-on experience in commissioning and troubleshooting hydraulic systems in the field.
• Communicative in English.
