Hays IT Contracting is a cooperation based on B2B rules. We connect IT specialists with the most interesting technological projects on the market. For our client, a global technology company delivering advanced cloud and digital solutions for enterprise environments (logistics sector), we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of Senior Golang Developer.
Work mode: 100% remote
Compensation: up to 180 PLN/h net
Contract type: B2B
Start Date: ASAP/ up to 1 month
Cooperation: long-term (initial contract: 12 months, with possible extension)
English: B2+/C1
Project and Role Overview:
The project involves the development of a cloud-based solution within the logistics domain. You will join a team of approximately 12 developers working on a greenfield initiative, building the system from scratch using modern backend technologies. The environment is based on microservices architecture, containerization, and cloud-native solutions, with an opportunity to participate in architectural decisions from the early stages of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Design and development of scalable backend services in a microservices environment
- Implementing business logic using Golang
- Building and enhancing system components running in containerized infrastructure
- Ensuring proper monitoring, logging, and overall system observability
- Creating and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment processes
- Contributing to architectural discussions and technical decision-making from early project stages
- Maintaining high standards of code quality, readability, and long-term maintainability
Key Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go) (senior level)
- Experience with:
- Kubernetes
- building production-ready services
- GitOps-based deployments
- CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions)
- platform automation and management
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Experience with greenfield projects
- English B2+/C1
- EU citizenship (mandatory)
Nice to have:
- Experience with OpenTelemetry (observability across SDLC)
- Familiarity with OpenShift
