Wargaming is looking for a proactive, excited, and determined Senior Game Data Analyst to strengthen the World of Tanks product analytics team.
We collect a wide range of data from player behavior, in‑game events, combat actions, and telemetry. All data are routed to a central database for continuous analysis.
As part of the WoT Product Team, you will collaborate with the Data Warehouse team and the global Wargaming Analyst Network to support decision‑making across the product lifecycle.
What you will do
- Deliver analytical insights to managers and product teams to inform decisions.
- Apply quantitative analysis to understand gameplay and identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain analytics for features, game events, and modes through all development stages:
- Pre‑Production Analytics – model expected outcomes and risks for new features, and forecast product KPIs.
- Production Analytics – create reports, metrics, and methodologies for evaluating live features, find anomalies, and provide actionable insights.
- Operation Analytics – build and support dashboards for real‑time product status monitoring.
- Gather and formulate requirements from producers, PMs, UX/UI, game designers, developers, QA, and artists.
- Present research results and enrich the product analytics knowledge base.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years in a similar analytics role.
- Strong ability to structure business research plans and produce clear analytical reports.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with a data visualization tool (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc.).
- Proficiency in Python/R with data processing libraries.
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting to non‑technical audiences.
- English level B1 or higher.
Additional skills that help you stand out
- Ability to quickly learn and systemize large amounts of data.
- Experience with Cloudera Impala/Hive, Oracle SQL, Snowflake.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
- High gaming experience, especially with World of Tanks.
