Project Data Platform based on the Microsoft Azure, implemented using opinionated Infrastructure as Code stack powered by Terraform, Terragrunt and Atlantis among others. As a DevOps Engineer your role will be to maintain, develop infrastructure and new functionalities of our system. Responsibilities Provisioning Data Platforms (including Databricks) on the Microsoft Azure cloud according to the best practices using opinionated Infrastructure as Code stack powered by Terraform, Terragrunt and Atlantis among others Implementing data governance capabilities on top of Azure-native technologies (Purview) or 3rd party SaaS Implementing and executing policies aligned to the strategic plans of the company to use technologies, work organization, etc. Creating and propagating standards of work in projects Undertaking work that requires the application of fundamental principles in a wide and often unpredictable range of contexts Contributing to the organizations knowledge database Technologies used: Azure Terraform Kubernetes Python Databricks Requirements Experience in setting up, installation and integration of data platforms on the Microsoft Azure Cloud according to the best practices Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code mindset (Our techstack: Terraform with GitLab CI/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps) Knowledge of advanced security mechanisms, protocols including data encryption in motion and at rest according to the best practices Knowledge and working experience with Kubernetes workloads Programming skills in Python Experience with Databricks platform would be a plus Certificates and knowledge of other clouds would be a plus Understanding complexity and relationships between businesses, suppliers, partners, competitors, and clients Being enthusiastic and passionate about working on the product and contributing to delivering the best technical solutions to user’s problems Very good command of English (min B2) We offer Salary: 150-185 PLN net + VAT/h B2B (depending on knowledge and experience) 100% remote work Flexible working hours Possibility to work from the office located in the heart of Warsaw Opportunity to learn and develop with the best Big Data specialists in Poland International projects Possibility of conducting workshops and training.
