ENDEGO is a cross-industry provider of comprehensive high-class engineering solutions for automotive, railway, maritime and aerospace industries.

For our Client, an international automotive company, we are currently looking for a Senior Design Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Realization of all design activities regarding the required data quality and product maturity along the PEP
  • Process and material-compatible design of components and assemblies
  • Implementation of and compliance with customer, company standards and methodologies, taking into account product cost targets and design budget
  • Preparation of a DVP and coordination of the test execution according to customer specifications with the internal and external interfaces
  • Design and design verification activities (CADdata, drawings, FMEA, ...) in the assigned projects
  • Definition of structures, assemblies and parts lists
  • Technical coordination in the creation of principle/functional samples (prototypes)
  • Coordination with MEI on technical feasibility and ease of assembly of design scopes
  • Initiation of or participation in concept meetings, design reviews and approvals, simulations, FMEA as well as prototype and product validation meetings, and meetings with customers and suppliers
  • Support in the estimation and preparation of a project-specific design budget
  • Review of the product design concept and its specification with regard to the patent situation
  • Participation in consulting and design support in the acquisition phase
  • Derivation of product or product improvement ideas to increase profitability
  • Coordination of further training measures with the Design Team Leader
  • Customer contact during the entire project phase to control the development in the time schedule

Requirements

  • Masters degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, precision engineering, plastics technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development within the automotive or mechanical engineering sector
  • Proficiency in designing and developing plastic and/or metal components
  • Strong skills in using CATIA V5 professionally
  • Experience in kinematic design of multibody systems
  • Hands-on involvement throughout the product development process
  • Knowledge of tolerance calculations and their application in technical drawings
  • Ability to conduct CATIA V5 training sessions
  • Fluency in English and Polish; German is an advantage
  • Effective and proactive communication across different interfaces
  • Expertise in complex mechanical and electromechanical systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in developing technical solutions
  • Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach
