Senior Databricks Consultant / Data Platform Engineer (B2B Contract | Remote)

We are currently looking for an experienced Databricks Consultant to join a project for a leading Swiss energy company. This is an opportunity to contribute to key initiatives focused on cost optimization, platform governance, and data catalog development within a modern data platform environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Databricks dashboards for platform cost monitoring and analysis.
• Build and enhance platform monitoring solutions within the Databricks ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain a Streamlit-based lightweight Data Catalog application.
• Support the creation of a Governance Portal leveraging Data Catalog capabilities and Unity Catalog permissions.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver effective solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, particularly dashboard development and platform monitoring (Senior level).
• Experience building applications with Streamlit (Mid+ level or higher).
• Good understanding of Data Governance concepts and Data Catalog solutions.
• Practical experience with Unity Catalog and permissions management.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
