Therefore we’re searching for a seasoned Senior Database Administrator (DBA).
As the DBA specialist, you’ll ensure the integrity, availability, and optimization of critical data systems, directly contributing to efficient decision-making and seamless operations. If you’re ready to take on a role that combines technical challenges with meaningful impact, let’s talk.

What we expect

An experienced and meticulous database administrator with a passion for optimizing performance, ensuring data security, and driving operational excellence.

In your application, we hope to see:

• Bachelor’s degree in information science, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior database administrator role.
• Expertise in SQL Server, including high-availability solutions such as Always On Availability Groups, Log Shipping, and Database Mirroring.
• Strong skills in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting using tools like SQL Profiler and SSMS.
• Proficiency in automation with SQL Server Agent and PowerShell.
• In-depth knowledge of database security, including RBAC, encryption, and compliance practices.

Suggested:

• Familiarity with tools like DMVs, TDE, and Always Encrypted.
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in critical areas like security and backup strategies.
• Effective collaboration skills for working across diverse IT teams.

Your tasks

• Database Administration: Manage SQL Server installations, configurations, and upgrades to ensure smooth, reliable operation.
• Data Protection: Design and implement comprehensive backup and recovery strategies, including point-in-time recovery, to safeguard critical information.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance database performance using advanced tools and techniques like indexing and query optimization.
• Automation Leadership: Streamline administrative tasks with SQL Server Agent and PowerShell, improving efficiency and reducing manual workloads.
• Security and Compliance: Apply best practices in database security, access management, and encryption to meet regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to align database management with infrastructure strategies.
