Technologies-expected : Azure Dev Ops Terraform about-project : We are looking for a highly motivated Cloud Engineer to be part of our new and growing Cloud Centre of Excellence Team where you will support application and Dev Ops teams in translating architectural requirements into scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant designs (Native & Hybrid). You have a key role on guiding the application and integration teams towards market best practices and solution patterns. You will also contribute on developing and making evolve the cloud platform. Please note that this is a permanent position and we do not offer freelance/contract arrangement for the role. responsibilities : You will support Dev Ops teams on architecting application and directly support our Azure Cloud environment You will translate architecture principles into detailed technical designs for native and hybrid cloud applications You will help us develop an effective cloud infrastructure by providing technical oversight and ensure security best practices are implemented and followed You can translate the security requirements from Security Architects into technical designs You will develop infrastructure as code on Azure using best practices and support implementations from development to production You will help reviewing design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables You will cooperate with application teams to support and deliver solutions and new capabilities, driving the change to develop innovative ways to resolve issues. You will help identifying issues to specific Azure Services or the Azure Platform, and will conduct in-depth diagnosis on Azure platform and services and share knowledge with other cloud engineers You will build new tools and automate to take maximum benefit of the Cloud capabilities, including automating tools for troubleshooting, diagnostics and other purposes You will cooperate with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives You will also write and update technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, technical Standards and training materials requirements-expected : You have proven experience in designing applications in public cloud, especially Azure You have hands on experience in governing Azure (Management Groups, Subscriptions, Azure Policies, RBAC, Landing Zones, etc.) You know the traditional IT architectures in Distributed Systems (Virtualisation, Windows, Linux, Storage, Containers) Familiar with architectures using Azure App Service, API Management, Azure Functions, Messaging services, container hosting services and other resources available in Azure You have knowledge of networking and core Internet protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks) You have the ability to design, implement, troubleshoot and document a technical hybrid cloud solution Familiar with software development tools like Azure Dev Ops and Terraform You are capable to migrate on-premises workloads into Cloud Service Providers You are able to build relationships with our customers and can influence and negotiate to achieve the defined goals You have the ability to distinguish between quick wins and long term goals.
