We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Java Backend Developer to join our team on an exciting project focused on electric vehicle (EV) chargers for a major client. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining strong backend solutions using Java. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and other development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate should be skilled in using various tools and technologies to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality code. Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude are key to success in this role.

Must have:

• 4-5 years of experience in IT industry development.
• At least 4-5 years of experience as a Java software developer, working with Java 16+, JUnit, and Hibernate.
• Expertise in Microservice Architecture and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Postgres for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in cloud storage solutions such as AWS S3.
• Experience with build automation tools like Gradle.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Architects, and other development teams.
• Experience working with a variety of technologies, platforms, and processing environments.
• Fluent English (C1 level) and communicative Polish (B2 level).

Nice to have:

• Experience in the retail industry is an advantage, though not required.
• Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and Domain-Driven Design.
• Experience in Vendor Management.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or JavaScript/Node.js for AWS Lambda.
• Experience with Python on AWS Lambda.
• Knowledge of Kotlin for application development.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI (Swagger) for API development.
