Responsibilities
- Ensure complete, accurate and timely delivery of standard and the urgent payment process
- Ensure highest professional standards in reporting
- Ensure highest communication standards and timely execution of management enquiries
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of all AP Payments in line with company policies, service levels, and compliance requirements
- Monitor and manage daily operations of the AP Payment function, ensure timely and accurate challenges and escalation resolution
- Support month‑end closing activities by ensuring timely payment allocation, and delivering relevant reporting to other teams
- Act as a point of contact for escalations and complex queries from internal stakeholders and 3rd party providers
- Collaborate with internal teams including but not limited to Property Accounting, and Cash Management to ensure smooth end‑to‑end process flow
- Contribute to process improvements, automation efforts, and implementation of best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain and update process documentation, ensuring consistent knowledge across the team
- Ensure proper internal controls are in place and support audits as required
- Foster a positive, high‑performing team culture focused on continuous learning, accountability, and service excellence
- Support employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and development planning
- Ensure timely delivery of any ad hoc task assigned by a direct manager
Requirements
- Minimum 2‑3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable Payment division or a similar finance function; degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proficiency in English is a must (other European languages would be an asset)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, MRI, Nexus, Connexis) would be an asset
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with very high attention to detail
- Effective communication and problem‑solving skills
- Experience in a shared service or multinational environment is an asset
