Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Knowledge of Kotlin, Android lifecycle, custom views, and database/persistence.
• Understanding of Android NDK development.
• Knowledge of building AOSP environment and building setup.
• Experience in Android sensor development.
• Experience developing with C++.
• An appreciation and understanding of automated app testing.
• Knowledge of Kotlin coroutines and Kotlin flows.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity or experience with the development or embedded deployment of machine learning/AI/deep learning models.
• Knowledge or interest in commercial vehicles/trucking.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features for our AOSP (Java & Kotlin & C++) based vehicle gateway device.
• Work specifically on the Vision AI application.
• Cooperate with the product team to refine feature specs.
• Communicate with back-end engineers about API requirements or refinements.
• Help the support team to diagnose user problems.
• Analyze the users data to identify bugs.
