THE WORK:

  • You will support Master Data project workstream with a primary focus on ETL activities.
  • You will collaborate closely with other Master Data project team members to understand and define conversion requirements based on Master Data project deliverables.
  • You will design and build the conversion database using Access, Excel and VBA and Google Apps Script.
  • You will develop and maintain load tools, such as LSMW, template files.
  • You will draft upload files and work hand-in-hand with Master Data Analysts to fix any discrepancies or errors.
  • You will execute data uploads in test and production environments.
  • You will engage in post-load validation, confirming that data has been migrated correctly.
  • You will document all migration activities comprehensively, covering areas like configuration, testing procedures, issue resolution, and any other relevant details.
  • You will support further database development, ensuring its alignment with evolving project and functional requirements.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances.

Requirements:

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Proven experience in SAP implementation projects with a primary focus on Master Data conversion and migration.
  • Hands-on experience with LSMW and familiarity with other SAP migration tools (eg. SAP Data Services, S/4HANA Migration Cockpit).
  • Familiarity with designing, building, and maintaining conversion databases, preferably in Access or similar tools.
  • Sound understanding of dependencies between Master Data objects and comprehensive knowledge of Master Data tables in SAP.
  • Solid knowledge in at least one of the domains: Customer, Vendor, or Material Master Data.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate functional teams.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
  • A proactive approach, able to identify challenges in the data migration process and propose effective solutions.
  • Balanced mindset, able to address issues in binary terms, when necessary, while also demonstrating adaptability to ensure effective deliverables completion.
  • Good communication skills, facilitating clear interactions with stakeholders during the data validation and troubleshooting processes.
