About the job

Join Arla’s ART (Agile Release Train) named Digital Services & Infrastructure (DSI), to be part of a great team delivering IT infrastructure across all base technology platforms. DSI ART delivers network, integrations, IT security, On-prem and Cloud Datacentre changes as well as SAP upgrades to the business and to other release trains. The ART has multiple teams and is currently in need of a new SAP CI Integrations developer to join the EDI & integrations team.  

Our strategy for the Integrations area is to build an integrations hub of competencies, which can be shared across the organization (HR, sales, Logistics etc.). There will in this role be possibilities to grow a large network in Arla across all business units. The role involves both hands-on development as well as communication with our customers.  

We are seeking a SAP CI Developer to join our dynamic IT team at Arla Foods. As a SAP CI Developer, you will play a important role in the development and maintenance of our SAP Customer Integration (CI) platform. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing SAP CI solutions to meet our business requirements. 

How you will make an impact:

  • Assist in migrating SAP PO interfaces to SAP CI, working with the project team to ensure a smooth transition and efficient migration process,
  • Develop, test, and deploy new interfaces on the SAP CI platform, with support from senior team members,
  • Help translate business requirements into IT solutions that deliver value,
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on interface design and specifications,
  • Actively participate in Scrum meetings and other team activities to support the overall development process.

What will make you successful:

  • You are a passionate SAP CI Developer, who has the drive and skills to secure ongoing deliverables to the business while following the guidance from our architects,
  • Your talents lies within delivering complex integrations with little input from the business using your existing SAP CI competencies,
  • In daily work you will have a close collaboration with the rest of the team and join all the Agile ceremonies. The focus will be on planning, execution and delivery to secure full satisfaction from the receivers of the product. Improvement ideas and feedback is part of the daily culture and valued high, 
  • You have technical knowledge of SAP CI and other integration technologies,
  • You are an excellent communicator capable of establishing strong networks with key stakeholders and IT specialists in a challenging matrix environment,
  • You are capable of analysing complex problems and summarizing them in a simple and understandable way that supports decision making,
  • You are a good listener, able to see matters from your colleagues point of view and be keen to work in an Agile environment.  

Furthermore, you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or related fields,
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience working with SAP PO,
  • Knowledge of SAP Cloud Integration (CI) platforms and tools, with a desire to develop your skills further.
  • Great communication skills - you have easy dialogue, both verbally, in writing and visually with stakeholders,
  • Great collaboration skills with a proactive mindset,
  • Familiarity with agile working methods; experience with SAFe is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to understand the helicopter view while still paying attention to the details,
  • Experience with stakeholder management on different levels
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills,
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written,
  • Passion for learning new technologies and seeking out challenges to improve solutions.
  • Establish trust and build relationships with people at all levels of client’s organization, 
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and designs to non-technical audiences in a clear and approachable way.
