Agent OS is a big platform with a multi-year development history. The solution is used by Telecom Agent users. Clients communication manages are a very large team of 50,000+ customer service agents. Agent OS is tightly integrated with various internal systems like network monitoring, management, billing etc.
Agent OS is constantly going through technology upgrades and feature additions. This work will require from you highly rewarding skills such as creativity, proactiveness and managing projects of complex and distributed system. You will have a chance to work with best in class - Subject Matter Experts (both Technical and Business) and you will contribute daily to the biggest tech transformation in the telecom industry.
Job description:
- Salesforce Development: Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. Customize and extend Salesforce platform capabilities to meet business requirements.
- System Integration: Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using REST and SOAP APIs. Implement data integrations, web services, and middleware solutions to ensure seamless data flow.
- Customization and Configuration: Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, and validation rules. Implement and maintain complex data models and relationships within Salesforce.
- Apex Coding: Write efficient and scalable Apex code to implement business logic and complex calculations. Ensure adherence to coding best practices, standards, and maintainable code.
- Visualforce and Lightning: Develop and enhance Visualforce pages and Lightning components to create user-friendly interfaces and enhance user experience. Implement responsive design principles and leverage Lightning Design System.
- Salesforce Platform Governance: Maintain and enforce Salesforce platform governance policies, including data security, data integrity, and code version control. Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and security guidelines.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure the quality and reliability of custom Salesforce solutions. Perform code reviews and collaborate with QA teams to address defects.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Investigate and resolve issues related to Salesforce configuration, customizations, and integrations. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other development teams.
- Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, release notes, and user guides. Conduct training sessions for end-users on new Salesforce functionalities and enhancements.
- Continuous Learning and Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, technologies, and best practices. Pursue Salesforce certifications and participate in relevant training programs and industry events.
Requirements:
- Salesforce Platform Developer Certification (Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II) is required.
- Proven experience as an SFDC Developer, with a strong focus on custom development and configuration within the Salesforce platform.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and SOQL. Experience with Lightning Web Components is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.
- Familiarity with declarative customization tools such as Process Builder, Flows, and Workflow Rules.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Ability to work between 8am and 4pm CST.
