What you will do:

In this role, you will be responsible for the sale of Johnson Controls Building Management System (BMS) services. You will promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners by providing business and technical solutions. Your key responsibilities include building and managing long-term customer relationships, positioning renewable service agreements as a foundation for managed account relationships, and executing the sales process to cultivate and manage long-term relationships while seeking out, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities.



How you will do it:

You will sell the Johnson Controls offerings persuasively, persistently, and confidently to building owners with minimal supervision. You will focus on improving existing facilities to allow the building owner to achieve their business objectives. Key tasks include:
  • Building partnering relationships with the decision-makers to drive sales of Johnson Controls offerings.
  • Proactively addressing customers operational and environmental objectives, needs, and requirements.
  • Responding promptly to customer requests including quotes for repairs, replacements, and planned service agreements.
  • Developing a referral network to identify new customers.
  • Conducting customer kick-off meetings, resolving customer issues, and maintaining service agreements.


What we look for:

- Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline required.

- A minimum of six (6) years of progressive field sales experience.

- Experience in selling HVAC or building automation system services or projects.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to persuade and close sales.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle various situations encountered during the sales process.
