Rail vehicle validation technician - travel job

Join the Rail Vehicle Testing team, where you will be responsible for the verification of electrical systems on trains, subways and streetcars. One of your tasks will be to diagnose vehicles in dedicated climate tunnels located at international rail vehicle test centers throughout Europe.

From the very beginning of the cooperation, we provide new employees with dedicated on-site training in Chorzów. In addition to the general development of electrical‑related competencies in the project, you will also expand your practical experience with pneumatics, mechanics, electronics, and learn elements related to transport tracking and management software.

Your tasks

• Preparation of vehicles for validation tests
• Carry out test activities on rail vehicles based on prepared procedures
• Identification and description of detected defects
• Creating reports on the conducted tests
• Taking care of the technical condition of tools and measuring equipment
• Adhering to health and safety rules and quality procedures

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in testing/maintenance of rail vehicles, mechatronic systems, or other transportation equipment
• Technical education (preferred majors: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or related)
• Basic knowledge of electrical schematics
• Willingness for long‑term business trips carried out in Europe, including Germany, France or Ireland – 70% of the time per year
• Communicative knowledge of English – min. B1
• Active driving license cat. B
• Knowledge of Polish language and residence in Poland required

Nice to have

• SEP electrical license is welcome
• Knowledge of LockOut‑TagOut (LOTO) security protocols
• Experience in the rail industry
