For our partner, we are now looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain ROBUST automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber and Playwright along with tools like Postman REST Assured.
Create reusable, maintainable test scripts for both UI and API testing within the existing frameworks.
Develop and execute API test cases to validate backend services, ensuring seamless integration with front end components.
Create and manage test cases in Xray integrated with Jira, ensuring traceability to requirements and coverage for both UI and API layers.
Execute automated tests across multiple platforms and environments.
Sync automated test results back to Xray, generating detailed reports.
Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
Identify, document, and track defects in Jira while collaborating with developers for resolution.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and scrum process.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage for functional, regression, API testing and integration testing.
Regularly review test execution results and coverage reports in Xray Jira to ensure alignment.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Java, Selenium Web driver, Playwright and Cucumber/Gherkin syntax.
Experience: 7+ years.
Ability to learn quickly the existing test framework & tests.
Experience with Xray APIs integration from scratch to automatically upload test results to Jira after execution.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Maven) and version control systems (Git).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience using Jira.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Pro-active planning and individual contribution.
