Overview

QA Automation Engineer – Golang and Playwright. Roles involve building robust automated testing solutions for large-scale, high-traffic platforms, leveraging Golang to develop efficient test automation frameworks and scripts, and using Playwright for UI testing. The role includes contributing to optimizing CI/CD pipelines and working with API testing, containerization (Docker), and cloud environments to influence the quality of a mission-critical platform.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and building automated test scripts and frameworks with a focus on REST API quality assurance
  • Conducting thorough functional and non-functional tests, including performance, security, resilience, and chaos testing scenarios
  • Improving and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable faster, more reliable software delivery
  • Defining and implementing quality processes that boost engineering efficiency and product reliability
  • Automating various steps within the software development lifecycle to reduce manual overhead
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on code and test designs to ensure high standards and continuous improvement
  • Supporting team growth by sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and fostering best practices

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automation Tester, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality test automation solutions
  • Commercial experience with both Golang and Playwright
  • Experience working with Docker and containerized environments; familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., Gatling, wrk2) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus
  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures, messaging systems like Kafka, and observability tools such as Grafana or Kibana will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent command of English (minimum B2 level) to communicate comfortably in an international environment
  • Residing in Poland required
