We are looking for individuals to join our new data project aimed at optimizing and standardizing our pricing models to enhance time-to-market efficiency. Currently, our actuarial teams invest significant time in building and cleaning datasets necessary for training these models. The project seeks to revolutionize this process by providing high-quality data that is readily available for consumption on a daily basis, allowing actuarial teams to concentrate on their core activity of model development.
The initial phase of the project involves creating a robust solution for data scientists who work on pricing models, focusing on the preparation and cleaning of data. This solution will be developed from the ground up, utilizing data generated by our internal platforms as input and producing structured data tables directly for the models as output.
The project emphasizes collaboration with data scientists who utilize PySpark notebooks, while also transitioning to a more structured approach using Python artifacts. Therefore, we are looking for experts with strong software engineering skills to build, deploy, and implement these new data processing pipelines effectively.
responsibilities :
Create and implement a data processing solution from scratch for data scientists working on pricing models
Design and execute pipelines for the preparation and cleaning of datasets to ensure high-quality data for model training
Establish and maintain good programming standards to ensure consistency and quality in the data solutions developed
Work closely with data scientists/actuaries to understand their data needs and ensure the solution meets those requirements
