Job DescriptionPROJECT MASTER PRODUCTION SCHEDULERPosition Reports To Materials Program LeadBusiness Group & Unit EMEA Supply Chain PlanningWork Location Katowice, Poland Position SummaryThe Project Master Production Scheduler is responsible for maximizing customer service and inventory efficiency in our global distribution centers, by maintaining required stock levels for products from Rockwell Automation’s factories during product transfers. This function also represents the MPS group on improvement initiatives within the Rockwell Automation supply chain. To achieve these goals the Project MPS analyzes, maintains, and presents data with the purpose of proposing optimal solutions to various supply chain challenges. To achieve these goals a close collaboration with various functions within the entire supply chain network is required.Major ResponsibilitiesManaging the material requirements planning for project specific tasks like stock builds for transfersWorking with project stakeholders to thoroughly understand and advise on managing short term/long term capacities and finished goods forecast to production plantsWorking with Finance to understand the impact master scheduling has on the DC’s and plants financialsCompile, analyze and maintain MPS relevant data within projects to provide a decision basis to project stakeholdersTracking, analyzing, and reporting the pertinent project KPI’s, as well as suggest and implement improvement activitiesAssist in global deployment of materials execution strategies, and finds and collaborates on global improvements in supply chain planningEducation & Experience RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent.A minimum of 5 years of experience in materials planning, analyzing data related to product forecasting, master scheduling, asset management, or shipment forecasting.Ability to effectively make decisions with limited time and information – can determine decision making criteria based on priorities.Strong analytical capabilities, with a good understanding of statistical analysis techniques.Strong interpersonal skills, independent problem resolution, proven leadership ability necessary to be effective across functions and levels, and the ability to manage the requirement of others not directly supervised.Proficient software and PC skills, with a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio preferredGlobal business proficiency and understanding.Working experience with SAPAPICS – CPIM certification preferred Key Competencies for SuccessStrong team leader/contributor, comfortable in working in cross functional and multi-cultural teamsHigh energy, driven and enthusiastic about opportunities to establish and implement new approaches.Possess well-rounded knowledge in supply chain, materials planning and logistics.Exceptional problem solving and project management skills.Proven ability to drive process improvements.Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) to various levels of the organization.Comfortable in dealing with language and cultural barriers.Capable of capturing and translating an idea/theoretical strategy into business opportunity and deliver positive results.Adaptable personality and open to changeCustomer service focused and goal orientedFluent in English This is a unique opportunity to contribute to Rockwell Automation’s vision in bringing the Connected Enterprise to life, by identifying and improving on existing supply chain processes.
