The “Technical Assistance” (TA) team is in charge of developing and managing advisory projects that build capacity of responsAbility managed Funds and investees. The team closely collaborates with internal and external stakeholders such as investment teams and independent consultants, and reports to donors and independent committees. Our TA team is looking for a junior Project Manager who is ready to take on responsibility and is motivated to achieve best project results by bringing in own initiatives.

The vacancy is the perfect opportunity for a confident individual who wishes to work in an international and dynamic workplace. You would be supporting financial institutions that are or might become portfolio institutions of a responsAbility managed Climate Finance fund.

Your Main Tasks

• Coordinate closely with investment officers to assess the need for advisory services, which includes the elaboration of terms of references for external service providers
• Support and manage the procurement process and contracting of consultants or service providers
• Support event management and client communication
• Manage and monitor TA projects, incl. reporting on financials and progress
• Coordinate TA projects within responsAbility with various teams
• Support the TA Team in other administrative tasks such as payments or audits

Your Experience and Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution or comparable education in a relevant field with at least three years’ work experience in (development) finance , ideally in procurement and implementation of advisory services
• Experience in developing and organizing projects
• Confident communication skills (written, spoken and interpersonal)
• Excellent level of written and spoken business English with well-developed writing skills is required
• Culturally versatile to successfully operate within the company and manage consultants from around the world; can communicate with ease and target-group-oriented
• Organized self-starter with an ability to think proactively, work autonomously and find solutions even in challenging situations with attention to detail and deadlines
• Passionate about climate change and excited about building a career in development finance
