For one of our clients- an international transportation company, we are looking for a Project Engineer who will join the European Planning & Engineering Sort Technology department. 

You will be responsible for:

• Designing and supporting the implementation of operating models for sort technology
• Leading and/or supporting projects with multiple stakeholders and multiple systems involved
• Designing and implementation of new systems and supporting existing systems to meet business growth and changing business requirements
• Ensuring that system problems are identified, explored and resolved
• Handling relationships during projects/deployments with multiple stakeholders and across EU countries
• Handling reporting on projects and activities with ease and to any involved levels of the organization
• Being accurate in creating and maintaining system documentation
• Bringing new techniques and technologies into the team
• Challenging the status quo

What you'll bring to the role:

• Excellent English skills
• Degree or professional qualification in industrial, mechanical or system engineering
• Experience in transportation and logistics industry is an advantage
• Experience in design and commissioning of the sortation systems is an advantage.
• Experience in engineering of the machine controls is an advantage
• Ability to communicate and present at all levels within an international organization, both written and verbal in native and English language
• Ability to independently set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals and track progress
• Knowledge of MS Project
• Understanding of infrastructure concepts (e.g. Networks, Storage, Virtual Machines)
• Knowledge of various Operating Systems such as Windows and Linux.
• Experience with system monitoring tools such as SCADA visualizations
• Analytical thinker with a creative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• Willingness to travel 
• Six Sigma experience as a plus
