About Our Client

As a Purchaser at MAN Truck & Bus SE, you will be responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings across dedicated division in close collaboration with TRATON SE and VW Group.

Job Description

• You will carry out global and cross-brand tenders in cross-divisional and cross-company cooperation
• You will develop procurement and supplier strategies for the relevant materials group for MAN Truck & Bus SE, taking into account current market conditions and TRATON SE concerns
• You will work closely with the purchasing teams of the TRATON SE Group and the VW Group
• In addition, you are responsible for ensuring procurement matters in coordination with the project representatives, quality and development
• You will conduct negotiations independently, prepare presentations for award decisions and represent them in decision-making bodies of MAN Truck & Bus SE and the TRATON Group
• You generate cost saving potential in cross-departmental cooperation and implement them continuously and independently

The Successful Applicant

• You are business fluent in English. Knowledge of German is a plus
• You are highly motivated and enjoy to shape future topics
• You have a high degree of initiative and convince with your confident appearance
• You preferably have several years of professional work experience in purchasing in automotive industry
• Your strengths include an understanding of technical contexts, high self-motivation & intensive cost orientation
• You have a structured approach and an independent performance-oriented way of working
• You enjoy working in teams and contribute solutions accordingly
