Join our team as a Product Owner

In your role as a Product Owner, you will develop new concepts of applications’ vision based on customer needs and expectations of stakeholders/principals within the framework of the strategic guidelines. You will define product features and communicate these decisions transparently within the team. You will be accountable for the end-to-end ownership and delivery of the IT applications involved in the processing of static data. The position holder is also responsible for ensuring the incorporation of Commerzbank regulatory and legal standards, continuously amending the products in line with customer needs, incorporating the latest regulatory and technological/market trends, and supporting other strategic projects.

You will be responsible for:

• Working with stakeholders to understand their specificity, products, assets, and infrastructure.
• Ensuring stable operations as per the service level agreements, IT security guidelines, user privilege management policy, and regulatory requirements, e.g. in connection with the backlog.
• Providing direction to a strategic product onboarding plan (Product Roadmap) based on consumer needs, business benefit to the bank, and the leadership vision.
• Managing platform backlog by defining epics and user stories, including acceptance criteria.
• Prioritizing the backlog based on alignment to the product roadmap and current stakeholder priorities.
• Leading business requirements engagement with lines of business and the development team to ensure the business needs are translated into appropriate technical specifications.
• Managing system supplier relations and contract negotiations.
• Providing guidance and education to all stakeholders regarding new implementations and infrastructure.

The Securities Process Cluster is responsible for supporting all securities processes in the bank: starting from the securities order of our clients to different exchanges, through settlement to transaction execution. Asset services, dividend payments, tax issues, etc., are part of the new agile Securities Process Cluster. Our mission: Provide the best stable, fastest, and most flexible process to our clients; react quickly and agilely to customer needs.
