? Join our team as a Product Owner! ?

In your role as a Product Owner at Market Data, you will develop several applications from the financial and market data sectors, planning their development in direct cooperation with stakeholders in multiple areas (Sales / Trade, Risk, Finance, Treasury, etc.). You will also be responsible for budget and resource planning, development strategies, and migration of applications to the Cloud.

What you will be doing?

• Develop a product and/or process vision
• Create and take responsibility for the product backlog, determine the sprint backlog before each sprint through prioritization by business value and/or customer benefit
• Ensure stable operations as per the service level agreements, IT security guidelines, user privilege management policy, and regulatory requirements, e.g. in connection with the backlog
• Stakeholder (business) interaction: multiple areas (Sales/Trading, Risk, Finance, Treasury, etc.), interaction with Cloud/Tech Foundation/Infrastructure departments
• Early recognition of impending problems; gaining an understanding of overall context and consequences above and beyond the urgent problem; develop new and innovative problem‑solving approaches. The developed solutions can serve as templates for standard processes
• Report the progress of tasks to management
• Share expert knowledge with colleagues and other departments, including outside the cluster
• Organize and take responsibility for a meaningful assessment of the user stories, conduct acceptance of the sprint result before presentation in the review meeting, define acceptance criteria for user stories before sprint planning, and obtain commitment of the team for the sprint backlog
• Ensure that improvements to products, services, processes, and/or systems take into account the requirements of barrier‑free IT access/software ergonomics by the objectives of the Commerzbank action plan “Inclusion”

Which technology & skills are important for us?

• Ability to analyze processes and requirements
• Strong knowledge of Market Data and a solid understanding of financial markets to effectively guide product development and align with industry needs and trends
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good knowledge of audit and regulatory requirements
• Fluent in German
• Good knowledge of Agile methodology

Nice To Have

• Financial Service Experience
• Experience with Cloud technology (GCP / Azure)
• Architecture understanding (Linux / Unix, Windows server, networks, databases, application servers)
• Experience in advanced database technologies, time‑series data
