What you’ll be doing
Join our team as a Scientist and participate in developing innovative cosmetic products that respond to market needs and trends. You will work in the laboratory and collaborate with marketing, packaging and other teams to create new cosmetic formulas. Your work will directly impact product development and company success.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage and lead the development of new, commercially viable products in a highly cross-functional environment.
- Work closely with partners to design new cosmetic products, product testing strategies, and resolve development problems.
- Ensure the timely completion of product development activities with high quality.
- Prepare lab batches to track performance and stability, conduct necessary testing, and collect technical information per procedure bulletins.
- Propose and execute strategies for product testing, including efficacy, claims support, and product integrity.
- Collaborate with Marketing, global R&D groups, consumer science, Packaging, Processing, ingredient suppliers, and Regulatory teams to ensure timely completion of testing and final product approval.
- Develop innovative product demonstrations and/or claim expansion targeted to meet consumer needs and industry trends.
What we’re looking for
- Minimum of 3-5 years of product formulation or related bench experience.
- B.S. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or an equivalent scientific discipline.
- Technical knowledge of chemistry, polymers, colorants, emulsions, surfactants, and other raw materials used in the cosmetic industry.
- Hands-on experience in formulating cosmetic products from concept to lab-scale development is essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a matrix team with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work within a fast-paced, flexible environment.
- Ability to influence peers as well as key decision-makers across the organization and be equally comfortable understanding both the in-depth technical details and the big picture related to program responsibilities.
- Understanding of consumer insights related to product development, demonstrating technologies as they relate to the consumer experience, and experience in assessing and developing intellectual property is a plus.
- The candidate must be located in Poland and able to communicate effectively in both Polish and English.
