Villa Del Lago is a luxury Villa on the edge of a stunning fresh water lake (La Pedera) in the countryside with stunning un-spoilt views of the surrounding mountain ranges and the idyllic turquoise blue lake.
The house is extremely private and therefore quite remote and accessed via a 1km country road.
Villa Del Lago will be rented to high net-worth individuals occasionally, around 10 – 12 weeks per annum.
Typically, the owner or his family does not live at the residence and visits it typically 12 weeks per year for three to fourteen days at a time, during these visits the domestic couple will be expected to work without days off, which will be reimbursed when the family leaves the residence.
When the Villa is unoccupied candidates will work 5 days a week.
Therefore, a full-time live-in house couple is expected to be confident being by themselves, manage their own time and take initiative to care for the property and maintain it up to standards in terms of comfort and cleanliness.
A separate, fully furnished apartment will be provided nearby in the village of San Miguel De La Salinas for the successful candidates if the house is full and busy. If the house has spare bedrooms and less guests, staff may be asked to stay at the residence.
And will be required to take care of the household, with the duties focused on cooking,
housekeeping, running errands, and driving.
We are searching for an experienced team of a housekeeper and a handyman with a
responsible fun hands-on approach. It is very important that we find a house couple with professional experience in private households and checkable references.
Type: live-in, full-time, permanent
Working days: 5 days/week
Working hours: 52 hours/week
Salary: 32 000 Euro Gross / Year (Accommodation costs free and car provided)

Duties of a House Keeper:
- Driving people to and from airport
- Driving guests to and from social events
- Classic housekeeping duties
- Cleaning
- Running errands
- Laundry
- Ironing
- Cooking
- Shopping for groceries
- Collecting mail from the local postal box
Duties of a Handyman / Gardener / Driver:
- Driving people to and from airport
- Driving guests to and from social events
- Cleaning the cars and ATV bikes
- Arranging the maintenance of the cars and ATV bikes
- Maintaining property of finding local tradesmen to repair the property
- Keeping the garden tidy / collecting and disposing of debris / leaves etc…
- Making sure plants / shrubs / trees are trimmed
- Liaising with local experts on trimming the palm trees annually
- Ensuring the pool is clean
- Painting external surfaces protecting them from the elements
- Painting and decorating inside the house of utilising local tradesmen
- Making sure the property is secure at all times
- Shopping for groceries
- Maintaining garden furniture
