What You Will Do

The Payroll Specialist - EMEA will be responsible for the accurate execution of the payroll process for assigned entity/entities. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating payroll procedures as well as improving organizational and data processing systems/processes.



How You Will Do It

1. Ensure that payroll for the assigned entity is processed accurately and on time for each payroll cycle.
2. Process monthly payroll data and all variables based on instructions from various departments and input from internal/external systems.
3. Liaise with payroll provider - outsource payroll processing where applicable and required.
4. Communicate with various stakeholders (internal and external).
5. Monitor changes in employee status (e.g. entries, exits, temporary contracts, internal department changes).
6. Make payroll deductions where instructed due to local tax legislation (e.g.company car, fringe benefits, etc.).
7. Responsible for payroll balances and controls at input and output (source to gross, gross to net).
8. Participate and collaborate with other departments on various payroll-related projects.
9. Participate in audit activities with internal and external parties.
10. Provide on-the-job training to team members as required.
11. Responsible for data accuracy and correct processing.

Required

What We Look For

1. Ability to organize and plan effectively.
2. English – written and spoken is required, any other language is an advantage.
3. Experience with payroll processing either in-house or streamlined minimum 3 years.
4. Strong analytical skills.

Preferred

1. Participation in different projects.
2. Degree in accounting, business or any finance-related field would be a plus.
3. Experience working in an international environment would be an advantage.
