Job Description:
Job Purpose: OTBRCs Cross Border Data Clearance (CBDC) team drives Cross Border data transfers in the firm to ensure protection of our Clients data in compliance with local laws, rules, and regulations. The CBDC unit is responsible for facilitating a holistic, end-to-end compliance review of regional and country-specific data transfer requirements.
The CBDC team is looking for a CBDC Ops support specialist to operationally execute CBDC reviews/clearances for line of businesses. The role requires collaboration with Business contacts, in-country SMEs, and the wider CBDC department during the 4 key stages of data clearance.
Tasks: - Responsible for end-to-end CBDC clearance for the initiatives/projects to attain regulatory compliance related to the use of data crossing international borders.
- Collaborate with business owners and other contributors to onboard the initiative/project across all businesses of the company. Act as a subject matter expert to business owners and key stakeholders on the CBDC topics.
- Review initiatives/projects that have cross-border data transfer implications and work with Business, Legal / ICRM contacts in the countries to gain cross-border data transfer approval.
- Responsible for the onboarding and clearance of CBDC projects/initiatives within defined SLA.
- Be proactive in identifying and escalating key risk areas related to CBDC for our business to management.
Requirements: - Essential - 5+ years’ experience in Financial Services.
- Extensive operations experience in a relevant functional area including financial services, insurance, banking, investment, information technology, or other related operational areas that support risk/compliance initiatives within the business.
- Ability to critically interpret regulations/policies/standards and convert them into operational tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS-Word, and office tools.
- Demonstrable experience in data analysis using MS-Excel.
- Desirable - Knowledge of personal banking and wealth management processes.
- Very good English - at least B2.
