Network Operations Center Specialist (m/f)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Network Operations Center (NOC) Specialist to join our team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, respond to alerts, and implement solutions that enhance our network operations. Main Responsibilities
- Monitor & Troubleshoot: Process and consult monitoring system alarms with adherence to process/KPIs/SLAs
- Support resolution of user or system generated incident tickets, collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve various issues
- Investigate alerts (SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow), classify impact, and execute Tier-1/2 remediation playbooks within SLA
Incident & Problem Management
- Own and support P1/P2 bridges, coordinate with global teams, and drive issues to RCA using ITIL best practices
- Log detailed tickets, craft post-mortems, and recommend permanent fixes or automation
- Work with Service Providers, ensuring they meet their contractual commitments and work with them on Continuous Improvement
Change & Configuration
- Review and implement scheduled changes (IOS XE, ArubaOS, AOS-CX)
- Implement user requests for configuration changes in relation to ACLs/FWs/PBRs
- Preparation of necessary activities and creation of change requests, presenting activities in various Change Advisory Boards, when required
- Maintain comprehensive records of issues, resolutions, processes, and best practices
- Mentor peers across time-zones, and champion best-practice security
Qualifications
- Strong basic network knowledge (CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge level)
- Experience in LAN/WLAN/WAN/MAN technologies in Cisco and Aruba vendor space
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience in networking
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users (at least English B2)
- Need to be a good team player and able to collaborate at all levels
- Ability to identify problems, take ownership, and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision
- Experience of working to ITIL/Agile standards/framework
Nice to Have
- Experience in Cisco SDA technology (SD-WAN, ACI)
- Experience in monitoring tools like Zabbix and Grafana
- Relevant certifications Cisco and Aruba
