Job Description

As Eurofins is ramping up our Security Operations Center (SOC), we are looking for a talented Information Security Engineers Intern to join our driven, highly skilled and diverse Crew for 6 to 12 months in Katowice. In the role, you will actively participate in Engineering operations, including assisting in platforms monitoring, maintenance and development tasks.

Duration: 6 to 12 months

Location: Katowice, Poland

Type of contract: Full-Time (40 hrs/wk)

Type of work: Hybrid (3 days from office per week)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyses network Security tools availability;

• Execute Network Defence procedures;

• Triage platform incidents, detect anomalies, and report remediation actions;

• Escalate incidents to be handled to Higher Engineers Crew, when relevant;

Qualifications

• Eagerness to learn the security technologies and how security operates;
• Eagerness to enter and develop oneself in the Information Security world;
• Strong communication and detail-orientated skills;
• Proactive and adaptable personality with a keen analytical mindset, necessary to investigate cases;
• Basic knowledge of networks (TCP/IP) and operating systems (Linux);
• Knowledge and experience in any programing language are in plus.

Personal Skills:

• English spoken and written (B2 or above);
• Team player;
• Systems Thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking);
• Detail oriented.
