responsibilities :
Install, configure, and maintain MSSQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments.
Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning, indexing, and resource allocation.
Implement and manage backup, recovery, and high availability solutions such as Log Shipping, Mirroring, Replication, and Always On Availability Groups.
Ensure database security by managing access control, encryption, and regular security audits.
Perform regular maintenance tasks, including database integrity checks, index rebuilds, and statistics updates.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize database schemas and queries.
Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and patches.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Provide on-call support for database-related incidents.
requirements-expected :
3+ years of experience managing MSSQL Server databases in production environments.
Proficiency in T-SQL for query development and optimization.
Hands-on experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Always On, Replication, Mirroring).
Familiarity with MSSQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), and Analysis Services (SSAS).
Experience with performance tuning, including index optimization and query profiling.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments for database administration.
Experience with monitoring tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Azure Monitor, or SentryOne.
Understanding of data security and compliance requirements.
