In our competent and experienced team of business analysts and engineers, you will contribute your in-depth knowledge in the development of programs in COBOL and DB2 on z/OS and ensure the operation and maintenance of our applications as Mainframe DevOps.
After thorough training, you will independently perform tasks as part of the entire development process with the main focus on

responsibilities :
Active daily result check of the nightly batch runs from 6:00 a.m.
Analysis of production problems and responsibility for incident and problem management
Work with the team to resolve issues
Support the team in testing and production operations
Responsibility for the production-related part of the test environment
Create, edit and review relevant documents for the operation of our products
Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and create required documentation
Support users through data retrieval, analysis and product deployment
Processing of inquiries about operational aspects of our productst
requirements-expected :
Strong problem-solving attitude and analytical skills
Very good knowledge of design, development and operation of mainframe applications with excellent knowledge of z/OS, COBOL, DB2
Proficient in the use of the mainframe development and deployment tools (COBOL programs, control cards, OPC, DB2, utilities, SQL, DB2 Catalog Manager, Aqua Data Studio, Rumba …)
Experience with agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban) and Atlassian Tools (Jira & Confluence)
Very good analytical, conceptual and solution-oriented thinking and working
Strong customer and service orientation as well as the willingness to work independently
Team spirit and quality awareness
A good command of spoken and written german and english
