In this role, you will work closely with development, application maintenance, testing, and release teams to support the delivery and maintenance of business-critical systems.

You will be responsible for requirements analysis, impact assessment, validation of changes, and support of production incident resolution in a complex enterprise environment.

Mainframe Analyst

Your responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
• Perform impact analysis for system changes and enhancements
• Validate developer implementations and test results
• Prepare and maintain application documentation
• Document test outcomes and support quality assurance activities
• Support Application Maintenance teams in production incident analysis and resolution
• Collaborate with Release Managers during deployment and release activities
• Work closely with development, testing, and business teams to ensure successful delivery
• Continuously improve knowledge of tools, technologies, and business processes

Our requirements

• Strong experience as a Mainframe Analyst or similar role
• Deep understanding of mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, IMS
• Experience in requirements gathering and impact analysis
• Experience in application documentation and maintenance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience validating system changes and test results
• Experience supporting production incidents and Application Maintenance (AM) teams
• Experience collaborating with Release Management processes
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Experience in banking or financial services
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
• Knowledge of regulatory or compliance-driven projects
• Experience with modernization initiatives involving mainframe systems
