Project: MA&D Finance Role 
Location: Remote
Start date: ASAP, The onboarding process must be completed by the end of January, but the actual start of work can occur at a later date.
Contract: B2B via Hays
Length of the contract: 12 months with the possibility of extending the contact 

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a seasoned MA&D Finance Role to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will provide strategic financial guidance and support for their Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestments (MA&D) portfolio. You will be responsible for overseeing project finances, identifying and resolving discrepancies, generating financial reports, and maintaining a comprehensive cost recharge model to ensure precise allocation and forecasting of financial resources across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee MA&D Cost Centres using SAP data.
  • Identify and correct financial discrepancies.
  • Prepare recharge entries for accurate cost distribution.
  • Develop and maintain a cost recharge model.
  • Create forecasts to identify potential cost variances.
  • Generate financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Support internal and external audit processes for project finances.

Skills and Experience:
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in SAP, advanced Excel skills, and financial modelling.
  • Proven experience in project accounting, preferably within a pharmaceutical or global corporate environment.
  • Practical experience managing cost recharge models and preparing forecasts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate financial discrepancies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
