Logistics & Warehouse Manager



Your responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies and policies to optimize transportation, distribution, and delivery operations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Monitor transportation costs, negotiate freight rates, and optimize transportation routes.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and order fulfilment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement appropriate warehouse security measures.
  • Develop inventory management strategies and systems to optimize stock levels and minimize holding costs.
  • Implement inventory control measures, such as cycle counting, ABC analysis, and stock rotation.
  • Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to align inventory levels with customer demand and production requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and reliable supply of goods.
  • Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to negotiate favourable terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Supervise and lead a team of logistics and warehouse personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics and warehouse management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and warehousing principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with inventory management techniques, including inventory control and cycle counting.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Advanced level of verbal and written English (C1).
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
