The Letter of Credit and Payment Specialist is responsible for processing Letter of Credit transactions, payments and fees related to Letter of Credit and documentary collection.

Responsibilities

• Handle all payments and fees related to letter of credit and documentary collection.
• Properly record letters of credit activities in banking systems.
• Identify risk-related issues and report any discrepancies.
• Provide assistance to client services and internal teams as needed.
• Handle the SWIFT and related processing.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• International trade or payments, wire transfers, ACH (Automated Clearing House) processing experience would be an advantage.
• Command of English in speech and writing.
• Knowledge of general banking functions.
• Analytical skills including investigative mindset, problem-solving and a keen eye to detail.
• Excellent time management.
