Your responsibilities

Ensuring comprehensive legal services and providing expert legal support Company and Ignitis Group teams;
Drafting, negotiating and ensuring that legal documentation conforms with applicable laws, Company interests, Ignitis Group interests, and best international practices (including PPAs, ISDAs, and other bespoke agreements and corporate documents);
Overseeing all legal topics for the Company, ensuring compliance and alignment with strategic objectives;
Building, leading, and mentoring a legal team, and overseeing all legal matters within the Company, while encouraging the professional growth of colleagues;
Managing projects related to legal matters, ensuring timely and effective completion;
Assisting the business team in finding unconventional legal solutions for various practical legal and business issues, participating in projects implemented by the Group and/or Company, and ensuring effective management of legal matters within these projects;
Managing legal risks by identifying potential legal issues and providing proactive and innovative, conceptually new solutions to mitigate them and ensure their successful implementation;
Overseeing the implementation of EU and national policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with best practices;
Liaising with regulators, management, and other stakeholders.

Our requirements

Masters degree in Law;
7+ years of professional post-qualification experience in-house or in a law firm in respective areas of expertise;
Comfort to work in cross-cultural teams, collaborating across country boundaries with a sense of diversity and inclusion;
Outstanding team working skills and the ability to build excellent relationships at senior level;
Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
Skilled at evaluating options and finding solutions;
Excellent professional legal drafting skills;
Fluency in Polish and English languages (both spoken and written);
Ability to independently prioritize tasks in a high-demand environment.
